Frankenstein's Double Wedding
A downloadable game
The year is 18__. The place? Well, perhaps it is Geneva, Switzerland, but perhaps it is anywhere at all - anywhere that a person of science, unbound by foolish reason and morality, may conduct vital research into the alchemical arts. There will be common folk, of course, though they may be fearful in the face of your particular genius. But you are not alone.
Some time ago, your experiments into MASTERY over LIFE and DEATH bore wondrous and terrible fruit: from lightning's jolt and the base elements of the dead, you birthed a new creation upon the face of the Earth (LIKE unto a GOD) and in their perfect eyes saw a majesty of hope that cracked your wicked heart, a Creature with a simple wish: Friendship.
Though you could have turned and ran, though your curiosity had led you to a discovery which some may label monstrous, you... Embraced it. Leaned into it, even. For perhaps, there is something of you, too, which is a little monstrous. And, as time went by, you became firm friends, to which your Betrothed (with whom you share everything, naturally) was overjoyed.
Indeed, it is the matter of marriage that we attend to now. For a curious notion has taken root in the deepest recesses of your mind, growing stronger every day. As the hour grows close at hand, you cannot help but plan...

This looks really interesting and I look forward to getting stuck into it this evening.
Ahh, thank you so much! I am looking forward to checking out yours and everybody's games later!
My game is in need to some work, but there were some interesting looking games to come out of the jam. Also, have to congratulate you on the most excellent user name.
Thank you! I'm definitely interested to check out your game as I started out making a Bartleby one before switching to this! I have people's submission files on my computer to check out but I'm just in recovery mode for a bit first, ha.
